THE BUILDING
RETAIL SPACE
Bahnhofstrasse 3 was the city’s first stock exchange building and was designed and built by Albert Müller and Conrad Caspar Ulrich-Näf between 1877 and 1880. Ground floor Mezzanine level By 2023 the building will be transformed by the architect Peter Märkli from Studio Märkli, which will involve a full renovation and the addition of two floors. In addition to a comprehensivee renovation, the building will be extended by two floors.
This entire internal redesign will allow Bahnhofstrasse 3 to be adapted to modern structures: with large shop windows, this impressive building will be given an exciting, high-quality interior and exterior and will be free-standing on three sides.
